McKnally Jackson is an independent book store and cafe that also offers customized classic titles and journals. They have two other shops, Picture Room for prints and originals by contemporary artists, and Goods for the Study for all things stationary and office. All three retailers are great places to spend an hour perusing for your sweetie, or with your sweetie.
We're only human!
Don't want to put in the sweat equity? Our current favorite gourmet chocolatier is Mariebelle, they have beautiful packaging and you can stop by the Cocao Bar on Broome street.
TAKE A CLASS:
Learn something new and take a class. Both companies offer gift certificates, so if you can't make a class on February 14th (or you're not sure what to sign up for) you can give a certificate for a future class.
That's our list, leave a comment with your own favorite Valentine's Day activity.
